Seans Bar

The oldest pub in Ireland & maybe the world, Seans is a friendly watering hole serving a local brew to everyone since the Vikings with no break! A worthy stop to anyone with an interest in having a drink in Ireland where you will find the owner only too willing to stop & chat & tell you a bit about the place!

Early Christian Heritage

The river Shannon crosses the Esker Riada along your route just as it always guided the early Christians into the centre of Ireland. You will have the chance to see this crossing point & understand how Christianity became so popular so quickly in Ireland.
