Join us for a cruise from New Ross Marina along the Barrow river to Waterford city. As you sit in modern day comfort you can imagine the history of the river coming to life. From the annals of ancient Celtic lore to modern day affiliations this is a unique trip through Irish history amid the panoramic landscape. Soak up the serenity of the peaceful countryside as we meander between the ports of New Ross and Waterford while enjoying some onboard refreshments. Our cosy lounge is a comfortable spot to enjoy some morning coffee or afternoon tea. We have a selection of hot and cold beverages, fresh scones, pastries and snacks available. New Ross to Waterford - 10.30 - One Way The boat leaves from the Three Sisters Marina in New Ross at 10.30am. The cruise along the river takes approximately 2 hours. When you arrive in Waterford, you may then disembark to explore this lovely city or have some lunch in one of the fabulous cafes or restaurants at your leisure. Please note, the 10.30 am sailing is ONE WAY only and passengers are required to make their own travel arrangements to return to New Ross. Regular public transport is available between Waterford and New Ross throughout the day. March / April / May - Saturday Only June - Saturday & Sunday Only July / August - Daily September / Oct - Saturday Only November thru Mid March - Unavailable Please arrive at the marina gate 10 minutes before stated departure time where a member of the crew will greet you for check-in. For your own safety, please do not enter the marina or attempt to board the boat until you are checked-in by a member of the crew at the gate. Parking in New Ross: There is pay and display parking available in the public car parks opposite the marina, or opposite the Dunbrody Famine Ship Experience. Please do not park in the area at the marina gate as this area is reserved for marina users. All-day parking can be found at ‘Mahers Yard‘, a 5-7minute walk from the marina. Current rates: €2.50 per day.
