The historical river Boyne traverses the Boyne Valley, meandering right past Rock Farm Slane. Boyne Voyage, a local kayaking tour operator ran by David, runs kayaking tours twice a day along the stunning river. Meeting at the reception here at Rock Farm Slane, the tour will begin with a safety demonstration ensuring everyone is confident and secure in their equipment. Then it’s out onto the babbling river for a fun adventure. Take in the beauty of Slane Village, Trim Castle and the rest of the Boyne Valley. If you’re lucky enough, you will even get to see some of the magnificent wildlife that call the river home. Admission covers all equipment necessary to have a fun and exciting trip, including wetsuits and buoyancy aids.
